Live Music
By I’m far too old and broke to go see this much live music in such a short period of time, (and looking at the dates, I might be too depressed to leave the house) but what am I supposed to do here?
Nov. 9: McLusky
Nov. 10: Wilco
Nov. 10: The Donnas (looks like a bar show with several openers, so the enterprising music fan could probably go to both).
Nov. 11: Social Distortion
Nov. 12: Magnetic Fields
I suppose McLusky and the Donnas are the two to skip, but I’d really like to see both bands. I’ve already got my Wilco ticket. You could make the argument that Social Distortion’s best days are probably behind them, and you might be right, but I’ve been a big fan for a long time, and I’ve never seen them live. It’s hard to see missing that.
In other Seattle live music news, Jonathan Richman’s cancelled July show has been rescheduled for December 13th.
