What can you even say at this point, when a story whose headline about how Trump praised Hitler’s generals doesn’t even contain the most damaging thing in the story?
In another universe, this would be roundly condemned by politicians on all sides, while the media would give it nonstop press as an example of someone's manifest unfitness for office. It would be a career-ending scandal.

More on the painful reality that many people find this racist cruelty a feature rather than a bug tomorrow. But a lot of not particularly political people would find it repellent, and it strikes me as a rather more important story than “James Comey found some emails” even if that’s not going to play. Democrats need to do what they can to make sure as many people as possible know about it, at least.
