Mark Levin’s Dialectic of Enlightenment
Truly the ideal person to be the thought leader of a movement that is ignorant bullshit artists all the way down:
This is Mark Levin, a Fox News personality whose number one bestseller “American Marxism” is obscenely popular, with over 700k sold in its first three weeks–more than the next fifteen books on the NYT’s list *combined.*
Crucial to his book’s argument is “the Franklin School.” pic.twitter.com/ExWky43dta— Sam Hoadley-Brill (@deonteleologist) August 17, 2021
So it appears Mark Levin actually calls the Frankfurt School “the Franklin School” throughout his entire book. Amazing. https://t.co/SnMKwLOJUg pic.twitter.com/hsYKzStu0Q— JJ (@smalwigwamlight) August 18, 2021
It’s not news that the war on CRITICAL RACE THEORY and related buzzwords is just a bunch of mad libs, but the fact that nobody involved in this project noticed that Levin’s book was premised on an attack on a school of thought he not only doesn’t understand but can’t even name correctly is extra special.
The punchline is that the audience that takes Mark Levin seriously almost certainly includes not only a substantial percentage of members of Congress but multiple justices on the Supreme Court of the United States.
…choose your own adventure:
Do we think:
A. He wrote it and is this wrong about things
B. He didn’t write it and his ghostwriter/ RA/ intern is this wrong about things
C. He didn’t write it and his ghostwriter/ RA/ intern did it deliberately to make him look dumb https://t.co/C6WlyIL4t9— Jacob T. Levy (@jtlevy) August 20, 2021
