Somehow these proactive new paradigms more ridiculous every cycle:
Of all third party vanity wank projects, the very silliest (although not the most harmful) variety is to put together a ticket with a left-wing crank and a right-wing crank. Obviously, to think this is a solution to anything requires knowing absolutely nothing about politics, and the idea that the president and vice president are part of a joint power-sharing relationship like a European coalition is hilariously wrong. Vice presidents have power in our system other than breaking ties in the Senate only because presidents choose to delegate. (The guy who called the vice presidency “a bucket of warm piss” was the reactionary Texan who was FDR’s VP, so everything comes full circle.) The fact that they’re just considering the question of ballot access now is a nice touch, though.
I should say that this is actually unfair to Tulsi, who is far from my favorite politician but 1)has been very responsible in terms of endorsing Biden and consistently disparaging attempts to conscript her into de facto pro-Trump wank projects, and 2)whatever her faults hardly belongs on the same ticket with a neoconfederate dipshit like Crenshaw.
