Serial Sex Abuser Gets Contract to Write Unreadable Book

I wish I was making this up:

Former powerful political pundit and author Mark Halperin has recently signed a deal to publish a book on Trump-era political strategy, his first major project since his career derailed in October 2017 amid multiple accusations of sexual misconduct and harassment.

As first reported by Politico Playbook, the disgraced Game Change author inked a deal with Regan Arts to publish How to Beat Trump: America’s Top Political Strategists on What It Will Take. The book, which is scheduled to come out in November, will focus on interviews with dozens of Democratic political strategists, including Donna Brazile, James Carville, Jennifer Granholm, and Kathleen Sebelius.

This is a time in which talented, hard-working reporters are losing jobs left and right, so the idea that Halperin is such an Indispensable Man he deserves another shot despite his serial sexual assault and harassment is silly on its face. But it’s even more ridiculous when his book involves having a bunch of washed-up hacks deliver the same inherently useless tautologies they will also offer to any cable network who will have them.

But whatever would we do without Donna Brazile’s priceless advice for how to beat Donald Trump?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Anyway, I guess it’s time for another article about how #metoo has GONE TOO FAR that cites no examples of it actually going too far and ignoring the countless cases in which it hasn’t gone nearly far enough.
