No more Mr. Nice Guy

I have a piece on Christine Blasey Ford’s accusations against Brett Kavanaugh coming out shortly, but in the interim I wanted to flag this:

Even in a world in which it’s increasingly difficult to be surprised by anything, I still found it surprising that it was possible to find 65 women who knew Brett Kavanaugh, who would sign a letter pointing out that he had never tried to rape them.

Of course the mere existence of that letter proves that the GOP had plenty of foreknowledge regarding Ford’s accusations, and went ahead anyway.
