Fantasy Donald Trump, protector of the working class, is harder to kill than Rasputin

When I read stuff like this I always having a sneaking suspicion that the person is doing some sort of bit:
But I guess not, or if it is we’re at Andy Kaufman-like levels of commitment to it:
Donald Trump doesn’t have any economic plan besides funneling as much money to the plutocracy as possible, aka a standard issue 2025 Republican. He just happens to be pursuing this goal in a wildly destructive way, that’s already making a lot of plutocratic buddies nervous, because the whole thing is so nuts.
Somebody — maybe Roy Cohn on his deathbed? — got into Trump’s ear 40 years ago about how 1890s America was the true Golden Age, even though that decade featured one of the biggest recessions history, and a 21% chance that a newborn wouldn’t survive to adulthood, along with the no voting for women or Black people etc.
Speaking of Rasputin, he was one of eight children, and the only one to survive childhood, so things could always be worse — and at this rate seem quite likely to become so.
