Warning and NCAA Tourney Open Thread
By I want to make it clear well in advance so that there’s no confusion:
I will absolutely fucking ban you for this, and you will never comment at LGM again. No hesitation, no regret. There are a lot of folks in the bourbon industry who voted for Trump… and there are a lot who didn’t, and the fact that the state happens to vote one way or another is immaterial with regard to the degree to which these people should be treated with consideration and respect. Collective punishment is both immoral and stupid, and while I’ll grant that the fact that I live in Kentucky makes me particularly sensitive on this point, I’d say the same thing regarding the same sentiment targeted towards West Virginia or Alabama or Mississippi. This doesn’t even touch on the fact that a) making fun of, and b) wishing ill upon people because of their long history of regional impoverishment is flatly disgusting and not something that progressives of any variety should be proud of.
Otherwise, let this serve as an open thread for the NCAA Tournament or whatever else you wish to discuss.
