Remember how taking over Greenland was one of the big jokes of the first Trump administration?

This Fox News story is worth glancing it because it demonstrates how the right wing propaganda machine is transforming this joke into a sober debate. Apparently GOP congressman Brian Mast was just on CNN explaining to naive viewers that people who were objecting to the US simply swallowing up Greenland because it can just don’t understand “geopolitics,” meaning that “we need” Greenland for the coming war with China, which he talked about as if it were an inevitability.

It’s hard to believe that we’re only two months into this.
