Elon thinks that anti-Tesla protests are being driven by a dead guy

Here’s a solid indication that the boycotts (as well as Elon’s own efforts to make his brand toxic among its consumer base) are working:

Musk is blaming "Herbert Sandler," among others, for secretly financing the protests and Tesla dealerships over the last few weeks. Sandler died in 2019.

This is not a phenomenon solely of the right, but the idea that everybody would agree with unpopular Republican ideas except that they’re being brainwashed — in the case of DOGE by USAID grants — is clearly driving a lot of Elon’s war on the administrative state. And in the case of his tanking car company, it’s a way to blame everyone but the person responsible, himself.
