What Shall We Call Them?
The delicate flowers who can’t bear to see a woman or person of color in a supervisory job. The snowflakes who can’t bear the thought of a trans person in a public bathroom. The weaklings who can’t bear to see a person in a wheelchair.
They’re wielding power now, and trying to make all those uncomfortable things go away, in word and in fact. I’ve been writing about them, and they have so many negative characteristics that the adjective pileup is excessive.
- Cis
- Heterosexual
- Abled
- White
- Men
We need a shorter version. I suggest CHAWM, the bolded letters above. It’s an acronym that can be pronounced, and it lends itself to puns.
