I wish I was making this up:
a good example of how the world is getting dumber. the new politico playbook writer didn't know who FDR was until a reader told him about that whole "new deal" thing. this newsletter is read by every important person in DC.

Not sure why they needed to go all the way to the UK to find this caliber of work when they could have just found someone who failed their first two Intro to American Politics midterms at a local for-profit diploma mill instead. (To be Scrupulously Fair, he’s still an improvement on Mark Halperin.)
