ERA – YES!
By President Joe Biden declared that he considers the Equal Rights Amendment the law of the land.
Like everything having to do with equal rights, there has been a great deal of fucking around with ratifying the 28th Amendment. There is a legal theory that presidential approval, followed by publication by the National Archivist, would make equal rights for women the law of the land. And, of course, there are some who scoff at that.
The National Archivist earlier said that she will not publish the ERA. But things change, so let’s see how this goes.
In any case, it opens legal questions into the next administration and a discussion of why white cishet Christian men should be the only ones with rights.
ADDENDUM: Wow, what a bunch of losers in the comments! The only way we’re ever going to win is to take the fight to the Republicans. This could be one way of many to do that. But I guess it’s better to attack OLD Joe Biden.
