Extremely esoteric piece of trivia: Carlsen plays online with the handle Magzy Bogues, which is a nod to the NBA player Muggsy Bogues, who retired when Carlsen was a ten year old kid in Norway. Bogues is famous for being the shortest player in league history, at an amazing 5’3″.
