The apparent fact that Clyburn urged Biden to pardon Hunter Biden only makes this worse, since it suggests an utterly false equivalency.
It’s been obvious in the month-plus since the election that lots of top Democrats are doing everything possible to create an impression of business as usual. That these efforts completely contradict everything they said up until November 6th, 2024, simply emphasizes the extent to which the grandees of the party aren’t equal to the moment.
