“Honest to goodness. The bars weren’t open this morning.” (Another LGM survey)
Here’s the survey link for the reader in a hurry. For those of you with a little more time:
According to assorted doomcasters across the interverse, tomorrow will be the last election in the United States of America. My family tree includes people who faced the threat of assault and murder when they tried to vote. (Possibly from other people in my family tree.) And again when they protested the fact that they were being disenfranchised. And also for sitting quietly in their homes. At any rate, whether such rhetoric is borne of sincere belief or the need to shout “Called it!” like a big nerd, I think it is a touch overwrought. Also, I think maybe we should see the election results first?
In the meantime, I’ve created a four-question survey about voting that might distract you from the feelings of dread, hope or dreadful hope for a few moments. Or make it worse. I’ll share the compiled answers to the survey this evening.
Here are my answers: In-person, early. In-person, early. No. Yes.
