The hack is back
Joe Biden tonight made some anodyne comments calling the demonization of Puerto Ricans “garbage”:

Needless to say, Republicans — including JD “we have to stop getting offended by every little thing” Vance — are trying to pretend that Biden was calling all Trump supporters “garbage.” And when Republicans are pretending to be outraged by something, unemployable light re-writer of Republican press releases Chris Cillizza is on it.
Chris, do you know how English sentences work? What does the demonization clause mean if it's not subordinate to 'supporter's'? And who is "his"?
Finally, he 'clearly says' supporters? Really? Aren't the two words pronounced identically?— Josh Marshall (@joshtpm) October 30, 2024
Interpreting cherry-picked quotes to render them nonsensical because Republicans are telling you to is just standard-issue stuff. But pretending that you can hear the sound of an absent apostrophe, now that is truly world-class hackery. Please do not try this at home–this is a professional.
