This 1938 animation is technically an advertisement for a toothpaste company, but it’s not like tooth care comes up more than a couple of times in this 9 1/2 minutes. Rather, it’s a great cartoon about a boy who brings a dog home, faces his horrible abusive father, and then through various animation hijinks, converts the father into a decent person. The music is just great and so is the animation. Very ahead of its time for the late 30s. Well worth your time.
