What are you doing to Get Out The Vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz???

I’ll start: Probably not as much as I should. I’ve sent money and bought a tote bag that I will use to bag groceries. I write stuff here. But I haven’t engaged with the direct people-to-people stuff. My contributions have gained me friends who write regularly to me. I’ve turned one or two of them off, but I hang on to most of them because I want to see what’s happening and how they’re presenting themselves.

One that is very useful in case I want to get further involved is from the Democratic National Committee. They send lists of events in my area, like so:

I am fond of Simon Rosenberg, who offers ways to get involved. His emails help to keep my mood up. Additionally, he and Tom Bonier, who he often works with, are actually considering the effects of the Dobbs decision and the large numbers of new voters registering, in contrast to most other polling organizations.
