The charges filed in the overdose death of Matthew Perry paint a picture of a celebrity addict being used and abused by a circle of enablers, some of them using their medical licenses to rip off a patient that died as result of their abuse of his trust:

I suspect this kind of thing is far from uncommon in the worlds where money, fame, and addiction get intertwined in a sometimes deadly pattern.
