JD Vance is an absolute nobody. This is a guy whose lifetime achievements consist of hornswaggling a couple of Yale Law School profs with his Oxy Deliverance routine, and then convincing a particularly psychotic plutocrat to let him be his own personal sock puppet in the Senate, in original Gilded Age fashion.
He’s the very epitome of a totally unremarkable white guy who ended up at the top of the stack, by somehow catching a couple of crazy breaks at just the right moment, even though he’s done basically nothing.
In other words it’s completely predictable that he totally sucks at doing something that he’s never done before, and that nothing in his past indicates he would be good at anyway.
Still wondering how Donald I Am Never Wrong Trump v. Donald It’s Never My Fault Trump are going to handle this. But it’s a truly pathetic spectacle.
