Trump really fucked the couch on this one
We may want to consider the possibility that letting your coke-addled failson and a libertarian vampire convice you to put their groyper buddy on the presidential ticket was unwise:
If JD Vance's popularity in his home region (-16 pts) is any sign, it won't get better for Vance nationally (where he's historically unpopular).
Also, Vance's favorable rating is just 5% with undecideds (i.e. not for Harris/Trump) in the prez race. His unfavorable rating is 29%. pic.twitter.com/WmDhN1vchl— (((Harry Enten))) (@ForecasterEnten) July 26, 2024
I’m beginning to think that the Yale Law faculty and New York Times editorial board do not have the finger on the pulse of middle America like they think they do. In fairness, it’s not like there were any glaring red flags in his record like “ran 19 points behind his party’s gubernatorial candidate” or “endorsed every Q-Anon quickie book to come down the pike” out there for the Trump campaign to consider.
