Take this Walz

I don’t have strong feelings about the vice presidential pick — all the major contenders seem fine to me — but having not known much about him other than the general legislative success of the Democrats in Minnesota I have been very impressed with Tim Walz:

It’s true. I’m a veteran, a hunter, and a gun owner. But I’m also a dad. And for many years, I was a teacher.

I know basic gun safety isn’t a threat to my rights. It’s about keeping our kids safe.

Other Democrats are already running with the “these people are extremely weird” line, and especially with Peter Thiel’s QAnon Waylon Smithers on the ticket I think it will resonate. Whether he’s on the ticket or not I hope he keeps the TV hits coming.
