The answer, of course, is “no.”

Cannard is also part of a team of doctors who evaluate Biden and consult with his personal doctor. He’s a neurologist, which is precisely the kind of specialist you’d expect to be involved with monitoring Biden’s health. Was he there solely for discussions about Biden? Was he consulting on policy? Meeting a friend for lunch? Per comments, treating someone else? I have no idea.

I also have no idea if Biden has a degenerative neurological disorder or if he’s just really old. I do think that we’ve entered into the “Clinton’s Emails” and “RussiaGate” stage of news coverage, in which the underlying story — whatever it is — gets lost underneath a mountain of “scoops” that range from speculation, to badly sourced, to written in bad faith.

ETA: I hit publish too soon. Sorry about that. Was rushing to get this out and then get back to work.
