This belief is so deeply embedded in the neurological systems of leftists like Grim that the most obvious facts — Donald Trump lost the presidential election in 2020, and, rather than disappearing from the political scene as a consequence, is, if polling means anything at all, in a much stronger position to win another term than he was then– simply bounce off their consciousness, like drops of water off an elephant’s back.
