I’m not saying theses data are definitive, or even good. What I would point out is that they’re something other than vibes. The latter remain the sole basis for assertions that Biden, unlike all these potential candidates, has to withdraw because he’s going to lose to Trump.

ETA: Whoopsie! The image I posted of the poll was actually wrong. The real pol results are below, and while they validate a more modest general point — no other potential nominees seem to poll better than Biden against Trump — Biden is actually trailing in those poll by three, not leading by three. Sorry about that, and thanks to several commenters who caught this.
