NBA Finals Game 5 Thread

Hey, another NBA game! I am too surprised that the Mavericks obliterated the Celtics on Thursday, but it was a terrible, poopy game to watch and I hope it will be obliterated from the memories of all who watched it, except Dallas fans I guess. At the very least, it showed how good this Dallas team can be and how they got here. They did things like play defense. Wow! Their supporting cast all had decent games. Who knew that was possible! Luka didn’t whine at the refs. What?

Well, let’s see if they can do that 3 more games in a row. I imagine Boston will actually show up tonight (I assume Game 5 of the NHL Finals will be similar given that the Panthers had a Celtics-like performance up 3-0 on the Oilers and proceeding to lose Game 4 8-1). There’s still not much pressure on the Celtics here, but a Dallas win would certainly ratchet that up a lot.

I am torn. I want more basketball. On the other hand, it will be amusing to see Kyrie lose in the finals at Boston with Celtics fans telling him he sucks.
