A Legit Note to Our Friends

This is 100% serious. As of 2 hours ago, our fundraising drive had raised only about 2/3 of what it did last year. Like, we are very concerned. Whether this means we have to bring back the ads in a serious way or what, I am not yet sure.
Look, we legit appreciate you all. Even I do. But we can’t keep doing this in this way at this year’s level of fundraising. We just can’t. The future of the blog is at stake.
As of two hours ago, we were a full $18,000 short of last year’s May 31 fundraiser. We are going to try and fundraise through this. I don’t like it anymore than you do. But if you have a Patreon and you give $10 a month, is it really so hard to go to $15 or $20? If you gave $20 on the other sites, is it so hard to do a little more? If it is, look, totally get it, all good. Please read and contribute either way. But we do have to keep this thing running and unlike other years, this has legit fallen well short.
Please help keep LGM alive.
