Tom cottons to authoritarianism again
James Bennet is very well-connected, so there have been a billion articles written about how only crazy Maoists could possibly see Tom Cotton’s call to send in the troops during BLM protests as a call for the violent suppression of peaceful protests and object to its publication.
Anyway, here’s an interesting news item:

One lede buried in Adam Rubenstein’s lengthy whine in the Bari Press is that he performed a similar clean-up job on the Cotton op-ed. But it’s always been blindingly obvious what he was advocating, and why people in the Times were perfectly reasonable to object to platforming him.
