Louisiana Legislature Attacks Erik Visits an American Grave
Of of course this goes public the week before I go on my long-awaited presentation at the Organization of American Historians in New Orleans/Louisiana grave trip.
This criminal defamation bill is wacko and unconstitutional. You could go to jail if you "expose the memory of a deceased person to hatred, contempt or ridicule"?

Yeah, I think I will challenge this law. Do I plan to expose, say, John Bell Hood to hate, contempt, and ridicule when I write up his grave post after visiting it next week? You don’t have to answer, you already know.
