It probably violates some sacred Law of the Internet to mentally substitute “Germany” for “Russia,” and “England” for “Ukraine” when reading the Yale Law School hillbilly’s demand that a small country surrender in the face of an imperialist invasion by a larger one, but give it a try!
And yes I realize this is the essay section of Vance’s job application for vice president, with the emphasis on vice.
