Dickey Betts, RIP

The Allman Brothers completely hold up as a great band and Dickey Betts is a major reason why. I can’t say I’m shocked that the members of this band aren’t living into their 90s though. As the obituary states, Betts, like most of that band, was a crazy motherfucker. RIP.

I’d also recommend visiting the Allman Brothers Museum in Macon, which is the house they actually lived in. Among other things, it has Gregg and Cher’s pool table.
