The important thing to remember is that the Democratic Party is much more of a dangerous personality cult than the relatively benign Republican Party:

OK, but I saw this guy give a vaguely New Agey TED talk once and clearly this is the ideology of the entire Democrat Party, and is surely worse than semi-fascism could ever be. CHECKMATE LIBS!
