This being the 50th anniversary of D&D and this group including a least a couple of players, it’s a good guess that there’s going to be some D&D content in the pipeline. For your Saturday pleasure, here’s a list of 22 of the weirdest tables you’ll find in AD&D first edition. Some of these are useful, although the random NPC traits can best be modeled by judicious use of ChatGPT these days. Some were never useful at all. As for the harlots, to my recollection my 12 year old self had only the very vaguest grip on the meanings of all those words, and not a thought at all about how random harlots might be integrated into an ongoing campaign. If only I knew then what I know now…
