If RFK Jr. has a birthday party in the forest and no one goes, does his rapidly collapsing campaign make a sound?

People who like to point and laugh at egotistical anti-vax nepotots, that’s who.
What’s sadder than sad is throwing your own 70th birthday party on January 22 in Indian Wells, California — or having your super PAC do it for you, we guess for deniability purposes — and announcing the attendance of famous guests you absolutely know have not agreed to show up to your party.
The announcement came in the form of a xeet by pro-Kennedy PAC, American Values, which linked to an article by the imminently reliable Daily Mail. And that is kind of sad. Just think; If Weekly World News was still around we might have seen an announcement that RFK Jr. was going to be feted by Elvis, Jesus and Bat Boy.
As it was, the announcement gave Martin Sheen a chance to make it clear who he supports for POTUS.
As for Sheen, an actor and activist who’s been arrested at least 66 times for his participation in civil actions and protests, made his denial in a since-expired Instagram story that’s been shared across social media. “I do not endorse RFK Jr., nor will I be attending his party,” he wrote.
He doesn’t have a xitter account, so he asked friends to make an announcement for him.
Get Out villain Bradley Whitford, who on The West Wing played Sheen’s deputy chief of staff, tweeted in support of his former colleague. “There’s a story going around saying g that Martin Sheen is supporting @RobertKennedyJr for president. The story is incorrect,” Whitford wrote.
“Martin asked us to post this on his behalf. ‘I wholeheartedly support President Joe Biden and the democratic ticket in 2024. Sincerely, Martin Sheen.’”
At this rate Sheen might go to the party just to say that he’s going to vote for Biden. Which would be a huge waste of his time because Kennedy won’t be there either.
Meanwhile, on Monday the campaign told us: “Mr. Kennedy will not be attending the PAC event in Indian Wells on Jan 22.”
Other alleged guests who will not be there are opera singer Andrea Bocelli, convicted rapist Mike Tyson and Dionne Warwick, who is not the sort of person to put up with dumb shit in silence. In addition to making it clear that she wasn’t going and that she didn’t support Kennedy, she also directed some irritation at the DM.
