I am as worried about Old Man Biden actually being able to defeat Donald Trump as much as anyone else. As Paul noted the other day, the best reason to not be worried is that the average voter–the moron majority–is finally starting to pay attention and realizing that the choice is going to be between Biden and Trump and you may not like it, but that’s the choice. So that might help.

The other reason to feel better about things is that Democrats keep winning the special elections. One doesn’t want to read much into flipping a Florida legislative seat, no. But given how the polls missed the 22 midterms, the continued electoral gold of fighting for abortion rights, and these special elections, there is reason to feel at least somewhat not apocalyptic. And this was a district DeSantis won by 15 points last time, so that’s a big shift.
