How important is this act of academic misconduct? The Paper of Record has made this clear, with day after day of top-of-the-page coverage of one of the most important issues in American politics (insufficiently paraphrasing boilerplate language taken from a cited source in material written many years ago.)
Given that Gorsuch holds a position of much greater power than Gay did I assume the coverage will if anything be more extensive. After all, the alternative is that Chris Rufo is the de facto assignment editor of the New York Times and surely that can’t be true, can it?
