A Republican member of Congress who insists tRump won the last election has reached it.

At a Homeland Security Committee hearing Wednesday, Rep. Clay Higgins (R-LA) claimed that the Federal Bureau of Investigation put operatives into “ghost buses” to incite the Jan. 6 attack.

Higgins was interrogating FBI Director Christopher Wray, who denied that FBI agents organized an operation to incite the riot and said he did not know what “ghost buses” were. The congressman said it was a “common” term for vehicles “used for secret purposes.”

You might be surprised to learn that Professor Higgins did not pull “ghost bus” off some Qagnome site. But on learning that, you will not be surprised that that it has nothing to do with the FBI.

Babbling about ghost busses is a big step down for the Common Clay of Louisiana’s 3rd District. In June he horked a stream of milicosity on Twitter after the guy he says is really the president was indicted for mishandling classified documents.

Later he would bravely backpedal and claim he was trying to calm tRump supporters down and prevent another January 6-style attack.

An attack he is now blaming on the FBI.

Maybe he’ll claim an FBI-trained demon possessed him and made him gabble about ghost busses.
