If I may be forgiven for hobbyhorse mounting, I think that this is an excellent illustration that as far as political time is concerned we are no longer in a political regime dominated by Ronald Reagan’s political program. We are in an era with no dominant regime, in which one party is affiliated with Reaganism and the other is affiliated with the New Deal/Great Society regime.
