I’m sure many people will respond to this outbreak of uncollegial, unprofessional and uncivil behavior with “Tee hee wigs will be snatched” or some sexist shite. But it is the inevitable next step for the GOP.

With Boebert’s back turned, Greene responded: “We were never together.”
It’s tempting to compare the participants to snotty teens, but teens are not adults and their brains are still developing. These sick clowns were being the 100% Republican selves. Republican voters are common and trashy and vote for people who reflect their values. Thanks to ongoing efforts to disenfranchise black voters, more common and trashy Republicans will ooze their way to D.C.
Soon these outbursts will become so common that the NYT will start emitting articles that cast clouds of doubt over the suspicious lack of name-calling among Democratic members of Congress.
In the meantime, part of the Bladensburg Dueling Grounds are still open and a short drive from D.C. In case they want to settle their dispute the old-fashioned way.
People who post off-topic comments make Boebert and Greene seem like mature and normal humans.
