By Every war, every mutiny, has its own logic and course. What Evegeny Prigozhin is doing is no different. But Russian history has a stronger sense of repetition over long time periods than most other countries/. So there are some interesting subtweets.

The historical analogy I would look to is the loss to Japan in 1905, followed by various uprisings of various degrees of success, all of them weakening whatever government was in power. Another possibility is to the Times of Troubles. but I’m not knowledgeable enough about that part of Russian history.
