America’s greatest inadvertent defense attorney issues blockbuster report conspicuously lacking blocks or busting

Mr. Durham’s 306-page report appeared to show little substantial new information about the F.B.I.’s handling of the Russia investigation, known as Crossfire Hurricane, and it failed to produce the kinds of blockbuster revelations impugning the bureau that former President Donald J. Trump and his allies had once suggested that Mr. Durham would find.
Of course the whole problem with investigating the “Russia hoax” was that there was no hoax: Donald Trump’s campaign at the very least welcomed the Russian interference in the 2016 presidential campaign in his favor that the nation’s intelligence agencies unanimously concluded Vladimir Putin’s government provided for their favored candidate, and in some cases actively helped those efforts.
