Jimmy Carter enters hospice care

Carter was a mostly bad president, but by far the greatest ex-president in the history of the office. His presidency marked a transitional period in American politics, when movement conservatives were beginning to destroy the New Deal consensus, and for that reason alone it would be of great historical interest.
