Jill Stein, still on the grift

On Sunday, Feb. 19, former House Reps. Ron Paul (R-Texas) and Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) will speak at the “Rage Against the War Machine” rally at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C., and call for a long-list of anti-war objectives, including stopping the arming of Ukraine, and negotiating a peace deal.

The rally, which is being organized by both the Libertarian Party and the People’s Party, will start at 12:30 p.m. at the Lincoln Memorial and will end at the White House.

The rally’s website lists the following 10 demands:

  1. Not one more penny for war in Ukraine;
  2. Negotiate peace;
  3. Stop the war inflation;
  4. Disband NATO;
  5. Global nuclear de-escalation;
  6. Slash the pentagon budget;
  7. Abolish the CIA and military-industrial deep state;
  8. Abolish war and empire;
  9. Restore civil liberties;
  10. Free Julian Assange.

The rally’s speakers come from across the political spectrum. Notable names include Ron Paul, Tulsi Gabbard, Jill Stein, Jimmy Dore, Garland Nixon, Max Blumenthal, and Kim Iverson.

First, I refuse to believe that someone named “Garland Nixon” is a real person, as the heavy-handed wordplay involved is too characteristic of this rapidly deteriorating series. And who is Kim Iverson? Is she/he talking about practice?

Here’s the People Party’s website.
