By All of that self-abasement has led Kevin McCarthy nowhere:
The late Roger Angell once observed that watching baseball it seems easy as pie even though playing it at a high level is extraordinarily difficult. Something similar might be said about Nancy Pelosi’s speakership — it’s hard to make leading a small House majority look outwardly easy, and watching this clown show should make that clear.
…I’m beginning to think that the 1/6 Caucus is not engaged in serious negotiations:
McCarthy just lost his seventh speaker vote and DeSantis acolyte, Florida Republican @RepMattGaetz, just nominated Donald Trump for Speaker.
These people are clowns.
They’re not serious about solving problems or governing in D.C. or in Tallahassee.
