With era adjustments, he’s significantly worse than Russell. Which could be seen as somewhat surprising given his last year at BYU, but on the other hand check out that schedule.
It must be acknowledged that Lawrence looking far better than Wilson is a point for the X-Treem Tanking for the One Indispensable Prospect crew. On the other hand, there was plenty of great value left in the draft, the Jets just gambled and lost big:
Anyone can swing and miss with a top-3 QB pick; doing it in what looks to be an excellent-to-historic draft class is very Jets.
