The Modal elite Republican is much less committed to democratic values than Jair Bolsonaro

Meanwhile, in Wisconsin Republicans aren’t squishes like this, they are openly saying they want to end the last remaining democratic elections permitted in the state:

And the Supreme Court, having already dealt a crippling blow to American democracy with Rucho, may be ready to finish the job with Moore v. Harper.
