Biden must be impeached
Trump might have committed the occasional oopsie, but surely Joe Biden violating the inalienable right of the White House press corps to cover his granddaughter’s wedding is a million times worse than all of them put together:
One of the reasons I eventually dropped out of covering national politics is because I found the atrophied moral instincts of the D.C. press corp so demoralizing. Just constant demands for guild privileges disguised as a defense of the open society. https://t.co/8Gxmdoq00X— Ned Resnikoff (@resnikoff) November 22, 2022
The republic simply cannot survive having a fashion magazine rather than a newspaper cover the wedding of the relative of a famous person. The First Amendment has effectively been repealed.
And intrepid reporter Michael Tracey — showing remarkable energy for a man beaten to within an inch of his life by an elderly congresswoman — has already uncovered a second count for the impeachment:
My parents and I lived at the White House. Is there a problem? https://t.co/4BeC5n2cRl— James Carter IV (@JECarter4) November 22, 2022
Wait — parents temporarily allowed their child and their partner to live with them between houses? I have never seen such egregious misconduct! We need to go back to when America had a Real President who may or may not know the name of his youngest daughter.
Won’t someone think of the children?
This morning while we were listening to The Daily, my four year-old turned to me gravely and asked “Daddy, why are there no pictures of Naomi Biden’s wedding in the Times?” When I told him “because Vogue got an exclusive”, he started crying.— New York Times Pitchbot (@DougJBalloon) November 23, 2022
