NBA Opening Night Open Thread

By request, we shall have an NBA open thread. A few quick thoughts on the season:

First, watching the Nets implode should provide hilarity. How do you have three stars as Kevin Durant is the most normal and well adjusted one? Wow. Steve Nash gets fired in the first 40 games.

Second, the Lakers are older than Democratic leadership. The disaster of last year surely will be fixed this year…….

Third, my Blazers sure did a job retooling the team around Dame. I’m sure with all of this, they will manage to squeeze into the play-in……

Fourth, I was watching First Take (I know, I know) while working out today and the closed captioning recording talking about the loss of Serge Ibaka to suspension as the loss of Iacocca. Can the Celtics win without ol’Lee?

Fifth, Bucks-Warriors in the finals
