What is most important to know about this “theory” is that 1)it is so transparently stupid that 2 members of the Bush v. Gore majority thought it was too lawless to go along with and 2)its purpose is to allow gerrymandered Republican state legislatures to determine the outcome of elections irrespective of the will of the voters, with no oversight or accountability from anyone. Shelby County is one of the worst decisions in the dismal history of the Supreme Court, and Leo prevailing here would be considerably worse.
